A local source from the occupied city of Tel Abyad/Girê Spî reported that residents of the nearby town of Seluk found on Monday morning the principal of al-Sabbagh School, Jumaa Al-Hussein, unconscious following an attack carried out by unknown assailants.

According to information and video footage obtained by ANHA agency, an armed group of three men in a black car without license plates intercepted the Principal Jumaa Al-Hussein as he was heading to his school. They kidnapped him and took him to an unknown location before he was later found unconscious, and residents transported him to the hospital for receiving the medical treatment.

It is worth mentioning that Jumaa Al-Hussein is the principal of Al-Sabbagh School in the city of Tel Abyad, which has been occupied by the Turkish army and its mercenaries since October 9, 2019. He had previously appeared in a video criticizing the deteriorating educational situation and calling on the so-called "Tel Abyad Local Council" to improve the educational conditions and school services.
