Revolutionary Youth organize rally in Tal Tamr for Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh

The Syrian Revolutionary Youth Movement organized a rally today in the city of Tal Tamr, Jazira Canton, denouncing the attacks carried out by mercenaries of the interim government backed by the Turkish occupying state against the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zaid neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo.

The rally set off from the public park in the center of Tal Tamr, with broad participation from local residents, as well as representatives of civil institutions and youth and women’s organizations. Participants raised banners condemning violations committed against civilians and calling for accountability for those responsible.

The rally toured the city’s main streets before returning to its starting point, amid chants emphasizing popular unity and full solidarity with the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zaid.

Participants expressed strong condemnation of the attacks, stating that what is taking place constitutes war crimes and a blatant violation of international laws and norms, particularly those related to the protection of civilians during armed conflicts.

They stressed that these attacks will not undermine the will of the people, and that the steadfastness of the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zaid stands as a model of legitimate popular resistance.

The rally concluded with slogans saluting the resistance of the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafiyeh, and Bani Zaid.
