Resistance of Tishrin Dam continues with determination for 20th day

Day after day, the protesters demonstrate their steadfastness, resilience, and unwavering attachment to their achievements, despite the attacks by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, as well as the harsh weather conditions and extreme cold. Their stance reflects their deep connection to their land and their unity with their military forces.

Last Saturday, hundreds of residents from the city of Kobani in the Euphrates Canton headed to Tishrin Dam to join the protest activity aimed at protecting the dam from Turkish occupation attacks and its mercenaries.

Today, they continue their protest with unwavering determination, drawing strength from the spirit of Kobani’s resistance. They emphasize their support for their military forces and insist that their will shall not be broken despite the attacks by the Turkish occupation army and the presence of its aircraft. They reaffirm, "This is our pledge to the martyrs, we will resist until the last breath, and victory will ultimately be ours."

Despite the cold weather, the protesters persist in their activities on the dam structure, even as the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries target the dam's surroundings and nearby villages. Through their chants, they declare their unwavering stance, repeating: "We will not abandon Tishrin Dam."
