The Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria described the international and local silence towards the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries as "implicit acceptance of these crimes", adding: "This silence fuels the continuation of violations against defenseless civilians, and increases the suffering of the people in North and East Syria".

The statements of the Democratic Autonomous Administration came in a statement published by the Media Center today, Sunday, after the Turkish occupation targeted civilians today in the areas south of Kobani and Tishreen Dam.

The administration said: "These massacres come within the attempts of the Turkish occupation state to undermine the project of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, a project that has become a successful model amid the circumstances that Syria is experiencing."

It continued: "These attacks represent a flagrant violation of all international and humanitarian laws, and confirm the Turkish occupation's insistence on targeting vital infrastructure and paralyzing the lives of residents in the region."

At the end of its statement, the administration issued an urgent appeal to international, humanitarian and human rights organizations to intervene immediately to put an end to the heinous crimes targeting civilians and infrastructure, and renewed its call for the international community to assume its moral and legal responsibilities towards the peoples of North and East Syria, and to pressure the Turkish state to stop its attacks.
