Residents of Raqqa,Tabqa and Jazera head to Tishrin Dam

Currently, thousands of residents from Raqqa and Jazera are heading to join the protest at Tishrin Dam in the countryside of Manbij, denouncing the Turkish occupation state's attacks on the dam and showing support for the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

A delegation from Jazera and Raqqa will meet with a delegation from Tabqa in the town of Mahmoudli, in the northern countryside of Tabqa, to proceed towards Tishrin Dam.

The delegations included thousands of participants from the Cantons, as well as members of executive councils, local councils, and communes, traveling in hundreds of vehicles to join the protest in response to the call from the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES).

Additionally, thousands of residents from the Euphrates Canton are heading towards Tishrin Dam.

Yesterday, the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a public statement warning of the consequences of the ongoing Turkish occupation shelling of the dam and the associated risks.

Since this morning, the Turkish occupation army has launched intense attacks on Tishrin Dam and its surroundings with warplanes and drones, accompanied by heavy artillery shelling and ground assaults by its affiliated mercenaries.

Currently, heavy clashes are taking place between fighters from the Manbij Military Council and mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state around Tishrin Dam. The council's fighters managed to destroy two vehicles loaded with DShK weapons.
