Residents of Jal Agha affirm their support for resistance in Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, Bani Zeid

The residents of Jal Agha in al-Jazira canton expressed their condemnation of the ongoing attacks targeting the Sheikh Maqsoud, Ashrafieh, and Bani Zeid neighborhoods of Aleppo by mercenaries of the Turkish-backed Interim Government.

Kawa Omar denounced the attacks, emphasizing that targeting safe residential areas constitutes a crime against humanity targeting unarmed civilians. He explained that the resort of the Interim Government's mercenaries, the "al-Amshat and al-Hamzat" groups, supported by the Turkish occupation and designated as international terrorist organizations, to shelling civilians is part of a political and military blackmail campaign against the Internal Security Forces, aimed at imposing their conditions and policies in service of the Turkish occupation.

He pointed out that these attacks are repeated after every meeting between the Interim Government and Turkey, and that what is happening constitutes a crime against humanity committed amid the silence of the international community.

Kawa Omar stressed his unwavering support for the popular resistance and the Internal Security Forces, affirming that this resistance defends the dignity and security of all the region's inhabitants, and that victory belongs to the people's unyielding will in the face of any aggression targeting their gains.

For his part, Muzaffar Dhiab condemned the ongoing attacks on the two neighborhoods, holding the Interim Government and its supporters fully responsible for the repercussions of this dangerous escalation.

He considered the aim of these attacks to be expanding the scope of the confrontation, destabilizing the region, and undermining the will of the people who aspire to live in dignity and stability within a democratic and decentralized Syria.

Muzaffar affirmed his support for the resistance waged by the Internal Security Forces and the residents of the two neighborhoods to repel the attacks, stating that the popular will cannot be broken by shelling and siege, and that the residents of Jal Agha stand with the resistance as the legitimate response to the policies of aggression.

For her part, Hanan Shamo condemned the attacks by the mercenaries of the interim government, listed on international terrorism lists and supported by Turkey. She emphasized that these systematic attacks aim to break the will and resilience of the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh, who refuse to submit to these policies.

She considered these practices no different from the policies of the former Ba'athist regime, which were based on siege and repression and were ultimately defeated by the resistance and steadfastness of the residents.

Hanan Shamo praised the popular resistance of the residents of the two neighborhoods, alongside the Internal Security Forces, in confronting the attacks, and affirmed her support for them.

She indicated that the victories achieved previously will be repeated in the face of the interim government's crimes. It also called on the international community and humanitarian and human rights organizations to fulfill their duties, put an end to the violations of the mercenaries of the interim government, and work to protect civilians and guarantee their right to live safely within a democratic and decentralized Syria.
