13 Interim government mercenaries killed near Ashrafieh

Violent clashes are continuing between the Internal Security Forces and mercenaries of the interim government in the vicinity of the Ashrafieh neighborhood.

In a statement, the Internal Security Forces – Aleppo confirmed that their forces are bravely repelling the attacks carried out with tanks and armored vehicles, and that they have begun a sweep operation of several residential buildings infiltrated by the mercenaries.

The Internal Security Forces revealed that the death toll among the mercenaries has risen to 13, two armored vehicles were destroyed, and two mercenaries were arrested. Sweep operations are ongoing amid the mercenaries’ retreat.

Through these attacks, mercenaries of the interim government seek to commit massacres against civilians in the besieged neighborhoods, while the Internal Security Forces continue to confront these attacks with courage.
