Residents of Girkê Legê affirm: rallying around our forces is national, moral duty

A number of residents from the city of Girkê Legê in Rojava affirmed that supporting the military and security forces in the region is a national and moral duty, emphasizing that maintaining unity and rallying around these forces constitutes the foundation for protecting the region's achievements.

In this context, resident Dahham Amouka highlighted the importance of standing behind the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the People's and Women's Protection Units (YPG/YPJ), and the Internal Security Forces. He stressed that these forces have served as the steadfast pillar in preserving the Kurdish presence.

Amouka added that the active engagement of youth within the ranks of these forces reflects the community's commitment to protecting the gains achieved by the martyrs.

For her part, resident Haifa Barakat explained that, ever since the declaration of general mobilization, the local population has consistently stood in the front lines to support the forces, regarding this as both a national and moral obligation.

She emphasized that the continued collective support for these forces reflects the community's awareness regarding the critical importance of safeguarding its achievements.

Meanwhile, resident Muhyiddin Hussein underscored the necessity of strengthening popular unity and rallying around their military forces to protect the gains that have been realized. He warned against being drawn into "special warfare" campaigns covert operations and propaganda efforts aimed at sowing discord among the region's various ethnic and religious components.

Concluding his remarks, Hussein noted that all components of society must join hands to support the Syrian Democratic Forces and the People's and Women's Protection Units, as standing behind these forces represents the optimal choice for maintaining security and stability in Rojava.
