Residents : After leader's message, we must organize ourselves for new phase of struggle

The residents of the cities of al-Shaddadi and Tel Tamr in the Jazira region confirmed that after the message sent by leader Abdullah Ocalan from Imrali through his family, they must organize themselves for a new phase of struggle, and they emphasized escalating the struggle until the physical freedom of the leader is ensured.

On October 23rd of this year, a member of parliament from the Equality and Democracy Party in, Rha, and the nephew of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omer Ocalan, met him in Imrali and conveyed the leader's message, in which he said: "The isolation continues; if the conditions are met, I have the theoretical and practical power to move this process from the ground of conflict and violence to the legal and political ground." 

 In this context, the people of the Jazira region expressed their opinions about the leader's message and meeting with him. Citizen Bushra al-Hamid from the city of al-Shaddadi said, "After 43 months of isolation, we met with the leader and ensured his health." She pointed out that this meeting occurred after the peoples of North and East Syria and all those who believe in the leader's ideology intensified their struggle.

 And she pointed out that the leader sent a message of peace, in which he said that he is capable of turning the conflict into peace and a political solution.

 She added: "As the people of North and East Syria, we are united with each other, and we will continue our journey to demand the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the establishment of the Democratic Nation project, because it is the only solution that calls for democracy and coexistence."

 For his part, Ahmad al-Ghadir from al-Shaddadi condemned the system of torture and extermination applied against the leader, noting that they were reassured about the leader's health after his meeting with his family. Expressing their belief in the leader's ability to transition the phase from conflict to peace and political resolution.

 Al-Ghadir added: "We, the people of the southern region, will continue to escalate the struggle until the liberation of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

 In his turn, citizen Yasser al-Abbas from al-Shaddadi said: "After a long period of severe isolation of leader Abdullah Ocalan by the Turkish occupation authorities and the escalation of the struggle by the people of North and East Syria, the leader's family was able to visit him and convey his message."

 He added: "We, the people of North and East Syria, stand with our leader and are committed to the democratic nation project that embraces everyone—Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs, and the other components present in the region."

 In the same context, citizen Idris al-Younis from the city of Tel Tamr said: "All components of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria expressed immense joy upon hearing the news of the meeting with leader Abdullah Ocalan by his family and sending a message to all the peoples of the region."

 He pointed out that the peoples of the region will escalate their struggle and will remain in the squares until the leader's freedom is achieved.

 Younis addressed the friends of the Kurdish people and nationalists in Turkey, calling on them to stand against the policies of the Turkish occupying state and to strive for the physical freedom of the leader.

 As for citizen Hamdia Koti from Tel Tamr, she said: "After the message from leader Abdullah Ocalan, we must work day and night, stay in the squares, and strengthen the struggle to liberate the leader." Pointing out that the occupying state fears the leader's thought and philosophy and therefore imposes a system of torture and extermination on him in Imrali.

 She added: "Based on the message of leader Abdullah Ocalan, our people are now required to escalate their struggle, support the military forces in the region, and protect our achievements that were realized thanks to the thought and philosophy of the leader and the blood of the martyrs."

 For his part, citizen Mahmoud Amin from Tel Tamr said: "What is required from the peoples of the region now, after hearing the message of leader Abdullah Ocalan, is to organize themselves for a new phase of struggle and to unite together to stand against the plans of the Turkish occupying state and to end the severe isolation it imposes on the leader."

 Concluding his speech with a call to rally more around leader Abdullah Ocalan, as well as to protect his project of autonomous administration from the policies of the Turkish occupying state, which intends to end this project and eliminate the brotherhood of peoples.
