Earlier today, Thursday, an Israeli military patrol consisting of five vehicles entered the town of Al-Ma’allaqa in southern Quneitra countryside and established a checkpoint in the town center for about an hour before withdrawing toward the neighboring village of Al-Mashida.

This operation came 24 hours after a new escalation in northern Quneitra countryside, where Israeli forces stormed several towns yesterday using troop carriers, accompanied by extensive search operations and low-altitude overflights by fighter jets.

The most recent incursions by Israeli forces have focused on the towns of Jbata al-Khashab, Ofania, and Khan Arnaba, located near the ceasefire line with the Golan, and resulted in the arrest of two residents of Khan Arnaba, who were taken to an undisclosed location.
