Raqqa, Tabqa, Euphrates convoys head to Deir Hafer to support besieged neighborhoods' resistance

Convoys of residents from Raqqa, Tabqa and the Euphrates cantons set off towards the city of Deir Hafer to head towards Aleppo in response to the general mobilization called for by the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh Neighborhood Councils.

Following a statement issued by the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiyeh Neighborhood Council in Aleppo, declaring that the Turkish-backed mercenaries of the Syrian Interim Government were threatening of committing massacres, and calling for a general mobilization, residents of North and East Syria responded by taking to the streets.

On Saturday, large crowds from the Tabqa, Raqqa, and the Euphrates cantons, along with displaced people from Afrin and al-Shahba, set out towards Deir Hafer city to head towards Aleppo, in support of the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood's residents' resistance.

The participants gathered at the Tabqa city junction in high spirits, chanting slogans in support of the Sheikh Maqsoud resistance; "Long Live the Sheikh Maqsoud Resistance."

The delegation included hundreds of residents from the three cantons, displaced people from Afrin and al-Shahba, dozens of vehicles belonging to the Kurdish Red Crescent and its medical teams, and hundreds of other vehicles belonging to the participants.
