The residents of Jal Agha city in al-Jazira expressed their denunciation of the international conspiracy that targeted leader Abdullah Ocalan, coinciding with the anniversary of February 15. They considered that what the Kurdish people are facing today comes within the context of the continuation of that conspiracy.

In this regard, citizen Khorshid Dali stated: “The global powers that orchestrated the international conspiracy continue to pursue the same policies through ongoing attempts to eliminate the Rojava Revolution by various means, including proxy wars aimed at ending Kurdish existence.”

Dali added that confronting this conspiracy requires strengthening Kurdish unity and unifying ranks across the four parts of Kurdistan, in addition to adhering to the principle of legitimate self-defense and the revolutionary people’s war, and supporting the People’s and Women’s Protection Units.

He affirmed that the victory of the Rojava Revolution would represent an actual end to the international conspiracy against the leader and the Kurdish people.

For her part, citizen Salamat Ramo condemned the continued isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan, considering that targeting him represents an attack on the existence of peoples aspiring to freedom, foremost among them the Kurdish people and their cause.

She explained that the Kurds today are facing a part of the ongoing international conspiracy aimed at undermining the leader’s project, which united peoples under the umbrella of the Democratic Nation a project adopted by the peoples of the region as a foundation for their struggle toward self-determination.

Salamat emphasized that the continuous attacks and campaigns of extermination have failed to break the will of the Kurdish people; rather, they have increased awareness of the importance of unity as a strategic choice to confront these plans.

She stressed that internal cohesion and adherence to self-defense constitute the true response to attempts at exclusion and elimination.

She concluded by underscoring the necessity of continuing resistance and supporting Kurdish military forces, which she described as the primary guarantee for protecting identity and defending existence.

In his turn, citizen Milad al-Aakoub, from the Arab component, denounced the international conspiracy that targeted the founder of the Democratic Nation philosophy, leader Abdullah Ocalan. He pointed out that Ocalan’s thought has played a pivotal role in unifying peoples’ vision toward building a democratic society based on justice and equality.

Al-Aakoub added that the international and regional powers that targeted the leader are today attempting to undermine the will of the peoples who adopted his ideas, and that efforts to spread discord and sectarianism among the components of the region are merely part of the ongoing conspiracy aimed at eliminating peoples striving for freedom.

He concluded by calling on all peoples to assume their historical responsibilities by strengthening solidarity and safeguarding the achievements made through sacrifices.

He affirmed that thwarting conspiracies can only be achieved through unity, organization, and adherence to the option of legitimate resistance.

Leader Abdullah Ocalan was subjected to an international conspiracy on October 9, 1998, involving hegemonic forces of capitalist modernity and their affiliated nation-states in the region that implement the policies of major powers. This conspiracy began with forcing Ocalan to leave Syria and culminated in his arrest on February 15, 1999. It continues to this day through the imposition of strict isolation and the deprivation of his “right to hope.”
