Recent attacks by Turkish occupation mercenaries against citizens and medical staff in hospitals, medical facilities, and service centers in Manbij city, such as physical attacks against nurses who work in al-Furat Hospital, have ignited a storm of resentment and anger among the city's citizens.

In condemning these attacks on citizens and healthcare workers, medical workers marched outside the very hospital itself, according to what ANHA's correspondent reported that he was told from inside sources within the city.

In protesting, the protesters issued a statement in terms of a string of "verbal and physical attacks," the worst of which had been the recent physical attack launched against one of the nurses who work for the hospital by a Turkish occupation mercenary.

The statement explained that al-Furat Hospital doctors work voluntarily and without salary "in service to their people."

The assaults also included defamation and harassment of the medical professionals online, the statement continued.
