On Saturday, residents of Qamishlo city organized a protest in which dozens took part. The participants raised banners demanding a solution to the problem of fuel and electricity as well as improving the economic situation.

They also chanted slogans in favor of social justice and a higher level of living, which later led to a demonstration that moved through the streets of the city.

The participants stated that the lack of diesel fuel, its high price, and the power cuts have greatly affected their daily life and business. They added that the crisis is worsening the expenses of living and threatening the existence of the residents.
