The “Kurdish Friendship Group” in the European Parliament organized a visual protest inside the European Parliament building in Strasbourg, France, to draw attention to the attacks targeting Rojava by mercenaries of the interim government, ISIS, and the Turkish occupation.

A number of Members of the European Parliament from the following parliamentary groups took part in the action: the European United Left (GUE/NGL), the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats (S&D), and the Greens/European Free Alliance (Greens/EFA).

During the protest, MEPs held banners reading “Save Rojava,” “A Real Ceasefire Now,” and “In Support of Rojava.”
