Preliminary results of S. Kurdistan's Federal Parliament elections

 The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, th e judge Omar Ahmed, said during a press conference that "the elections were held in a safe and fair atmosphere, and the preliminary results are not subject to appeal."

 Roj News Agency published the number of voters for the candidates, by name, in Sulaymaniyah, Hawler, Dohuk and Halabja, as follows:

 In Sulaymaniyah:

 Patriotic Union of Kurdistan: 256,813 votes

 The New Generation Movement: 136,131 votes

 Kurdistan Democratic Party: 57,832 votes

 Kurdistan Islamic Union: 42,622 votes

 Kurdistan Justice Group: 36,627 votes

 HALWEST : 29,346 votes

 People's Front: 20,300 votes

 Change Movement: 9,721 votes

 In Hawler:

 Kurdistan Democratic Party: 345,822 votes

 Patriotic Union of Kurdistan: 110,353 votes

 The New Generation Movement: 103,684 votes

 Kurdistan Islamic Union: 24,065 votes

 Kurdistan Justice Group: 20,191 votes

 HALWEST: 16,736 votes

 People's Front: 9,735 votes

 (Christians) Rami Nouri Odeish: 6,752 votes

 (Turkmen) Mona Nabi Nader: 3,664 votes
