In light of the sensitive circumstances that the region is going through and the ongoing attacks launched by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on the North and East Syria region, and the accompanying forced displacement in the Afrin and Shahba cantons, popular solidarity in North and East Syria has emerged as a true image of the philosophy of the democratic nation, as the residents of the region with their various components have shown a model of coexistence and human cooperation.

Solidarity highlights the philosophy of the democratic nation

Fayyad al-Hassani, an Arab resident of the city of Hasakah in al-Jazira canton, confirmed that popular solidarity between the components was clearly evident in supporting those forcibly displaced from Afrin and al-Shahba, whether through collecting donations or providing aid.

He added: "What we witnessed in terms of cooperation between the residents of the region shows their influence by the thought of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the approach of the democratic nation, as awareness of the importance of unity and resistance became clear."

Al-Hassani pointed out that all the peoples of North and East Syria are ready to bear arms and defend the region.

The ship of safety in the approach of the democratic nation

Imad Tatarian from the Armenian component called for solidarity between the components to confront the ordeals, stressing that the approach of the democratic nation represents the ship of safety for the peoples of the region.

Tatarian said: "The thought of Leader Abdullah Ocalan laid the foundation for a dignified life and coexistence, and it is the way to live in peace and security away from injustice and tyranny."

Tatarian pointed out the importance of returning to this thought in light of the current circumstances, stressing that the unification of the components around this approach will contribute to protecting the region and achieving stability.

Solidarity is a means to achieve victory

Abdul Hamid Issa, from the Kurdish component in the city of Hasakah, pointed out that the popular solidarity witnessed by the region in receiving the forcibly displaced due to the attacks of the Turkish occupation, reflects the peoples' adherence to the philosophy of the democratic nation.

He added: "This cohesion and cooperation is the way to achieve victory and protect the region from the dangers it faces."

Practical application of the democratic nation on the ground

In the city of Tal Brak in al-Jazira canton, the co-chair of the Martyrs' Families Council in the city, Waad Aliwi, confirmed that the region's residents' embrace of the forcibly displaced families reflects the humanitarian values derived from the thought of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

She noted that "the people of the region, like beehives, showed their human solidarity by sharing space and food with the displaced, which confirms the unity and brotherhood of the peoples."

For her part, a member of the Kongra Star in the city, Adhraa al-Hussein, said that the philosophy of Leader Abdullah Ocalan was clearly reflected in the residents' reception of the displaced as brothers, explaining that "this humanitarian approach reflects the people's connection to the thought of the democratic nation and its application on the ground.".
