Popular initiative to renovate internal roads in village in Afrin

Residents of Sheikh Khorz village, located in the Bulbul district of Afrin city, have begun repairing the village's internal roads as part of a community-led initiative aimed at improving infrastructure and facilitating residents' daily movement.

Residents of Sheikh Khorz village, located in the Bulbul district of Afrin city, have launched a community-driven initiative to repair several roads within the village following the return of numerous displaced persons to the area as a result of the agreement reached on January 29th.

The work included repairing the roads between the southern and central parts of the village, as well as the road leading to the village cemetery and the water well, using tractors and other machineries available to the local residents.

This initiative comes amid the efforts made by the villagers to improve their living conditions and organize their daily affairs following the return of displaced persons to their areas in Afrin, where the residents rely on their own capabilities and initiatives to meet basic needs and enhance infrastructure, particularly given the absence of service projects provided by the Interim Government.
