Popular Initiative ends its campaign in Damascus

The Popular Initiative Committee for the Freedom of Leader Ocalan ended its campaign in the city of Damascus and its countryside by collecting about 3,200 signatures.

The committee revealed the results of its campaign during a statement read today in the Zorava neighborhood in the Syrian capital, Damascus, by committee member Hassan Abdullah, in the presence of a number of members of the signature collection committees.

The statement noted that “all the activities in Damascus and its countryside joined this campaign and were part of it, especially in this arena, which embraced leader Apo for years and the humanitarian, militant, and revolutionary legacy he created, so it was worthy of everyone who knew him and met him to return their loyalty to leader Apo. And by their belief that his project and the road map he drew are the best solutions to the fruitless problems of the Middle East. In turn, we and the Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Ocalan will remain loyal to his values and his honorable revolutionary legacy until his freedom is achieved.”

The initiative announced the end of its campaign to collect signatures in Damascus and its countryside, collecting approximately 3,200 signatures.
