People of Tel Koçer: We will resist Turkish occupation, its affiliated mercenaries

The Turkish occupying state and its mercenaries continue to escalate their attacks on NE Syria. In response, heroic resistance persists from the SDF, the YPJ, and civilians stationed at the Tishreen Dam, who are working tirelessly to defend the region.

 The citizen Salem Hameed said: "The Syrian Democratic Forces comprise individuals from all components of this region. Their fundamental mission is to safeguard the region's stability from threats, maintain territorial integrity, and foster coexistence among its diverse components. This force has been the sole defender against terrorism on behalf of the world, ensuring the security of both the region and the globe against such threats."

 He added: "We triumphed in the Battle of Kobani, and we shall prevail in the Battle of Tishreen Dam, as we stand united with our fighters on the frontlines until the very end."

 Another resident, Mohammed Khalaf, reaffirmed his unwavering support for the SDF's historic resistance, stating: "Without these forces, the widespread chaos in Syria would have reached our areas. Turkey and its mercenaries are relentlessly attempting to destabilize our region through special warfare and sowing discord among our communities."

 He emphasized: "The region's components began this resistance together and will protect their shared vision until they achieve lasting peace."

 Nesrin Hassan, another citizen, highlighted the pivotal role of the YPJ and SDF: "These forces, established by the region’s components, are the protectors of our existence, culture, and identity. Without them, the Turkish occupying state would have succeeded in its project in Syria, fulfilling its ambition of reviving Ottoman expansionism."

 She affirmed: "We will stand with our fighters to defend our regions and safeguard the achievements of our martyrs from the aggression of Turkish occupation and its mercenaries."
