People of Markada, Al-Shaddadi join sit-in tent of Hasaka

 The sit-in tent continues in the city of Hasaka for the fourth day in a row, within the framework of the “Freedom for Leader Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue” campaign.

On the fourth day of the sit-in tent activities set up by the Popular Initiative for North and East Syria for the Freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan near the Al-Sabagh Roundabout in the city of Hasaka, hundreds of people from the Markada and Al-Shaddadi districts arrived.

Participants in the sit-in tent carried pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan, and chanted slogans: “There is no life without the leader.”

Member of the Markada District Council, Salwa Dakman said “Despite all the inhumane practices against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, his struggle in the face of capitalist regimes has not stopped and continues to liberate oppressed peoples.”

Dakman confirmed that the Turkish policies  are a violation of all international laws and conventions.

The member of the Democratic Union Party in Al-Shaddadi district, Fadel Ahmed said: “If the leader is not liberated, the peoples will not be liberated.”

Ahmed explained: "The Turkish occupation state is fighting the ideology of leader Abdullah Ocalan, which aims to liberate peoples who yearn for freedom. Turkey will not be able to break the will of the people."

The people of Al-Hol and Arisha districts in Hasaka canton will join the sit-in event tomorrow.
