People of Kobani welcome returning protesters  from Tishrin Dam

 Four days ago, the citizens of Kobani mobilized to Tishrin Dam to serve as guards and protest against the incursions of the Turkish occupation.

 Today, after fulfilling their duty, the residents of Kobani entrusted the responsibility of guarding the dam to the people of Jazira Canton, who arrived at the dam yesterday and subsequently returned to Kobani.

 The reception for the returning citizens was vibrant, with the residents of Kobani adorned in flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Women's Protection Units, and People’s Protection Units, chanting slogans such as "Resistance is Life" and "Long Live the Resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces."

 Upon the citizens arrival, a moment of silence was observed in honor of the martyrs. Following this, Fawaz Ahmed,the Co-chair of the local authority in the Euphrates Canton, delivered a speech emphasizing the inadequacy of words to capture the spirit of popular resistance at Tishrin Dam.

He said, "The people's resistance against the assaults of the Turkish occupying state is formidable. We must never relinquish our water and electricity to the occupier; they are our rightful property and cannot be touched by anyone."

 Fawaz concluded his address by stating, "We must further strengthen our resistance against the attacks of the Turkish occupying state and its mercenaries. We promise our people and martyrs that we will not allow the enemy to advance a single step into our territory, and that our resistance will triumph over the adversary."
