People of Amuda call for achieving leader Ocalan's Physical Freedom

The people of Amuda in al- Jazira canton confirmed that the meeting that took place between Leader Abdullah Ocalan and his nephew Omar Ocalan was the result of resistance, and they condemned the Turkish authorities' imposition of new penalties on the leader.

 Mustafa Al-Omari, a resident of Amuda, said: "Leader Abdullah Ocalan is in Imrali prison for our sake and for the Kurdish cause, and the Turkish occupation state is imposing a regime of torture and genocide on the leader to end the Kurdish cause."

 Al-Omari explained that the meeting that took place between  the leader and his nephew is not enough, stressing that "the physical freedom must be achieved for the solution to the Kurdish issue."

 Al-Omari stressed the need to increase the pace of resistance against the regime torture and genocide, saying: "Everything is achieved through resistance."

 Al-Omari stressed that the Kurdish and Kurdistani people will continue their resistance.

 Salman Sheikhi said: "The meeting that took place between the leader and his nephew Omar Ocalan was the result of great resistance, so the resistance must continue. We want the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan."

 For his part, Mohammed Ahmed said: "Our cause and our freedom will be achieved through the physical freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan."
