Pentagon: American points in Iraq, Syria attacked 127 times

The Pentagon revealed that American points in Iraq and Syria have been subjected to 127 attacks since the start of the escalation between Israel and Hamas.

Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said that American points in Iraq and Syria have been attacked 127 times since the escalation of the situation in the region over the war between Israel and Hamas.

“Since January 4, there have been 9 attacks. In total, 127 attacks have been carried out, 52 in Iraq and 75 in Syria" Ryder said during a press conference.

Worth to note that since the beginning of the escalation of the conflict between Israel and Hamas, American forces in Iraq and Syria have been subjected to attacks on an almost daily basis with missiles and drones.

Washington deploys 2,500 military personnel in Iraq and about 900 in Syria, within the framework of the “International Coalition to Combat ISIS."

Earlier, Iraqi groups, in a statement on the Telegram application, warned Washington that it will intensify its targeting of American bases in Syria and Iraq, against the backdrop of the war between Hamas and Israel.
