Party of Equality and Peoples' Democracy: Imrali delegation will meet Leader soon

During a press conference, Kilistan Kiliç Koçyigit, the Chair of the Party of Equality and Peoples' Democracy in the Turkish Parliament, revealed an upcoming meeting between the party’s delegation and Leader Abdullah Ocalan in the next few days.

She pointed out: "In the coming days, our party’s delegation will visit Imrali Island and meet with Leader Abdullah Ocalan for the third time. The delegation will review the Ministry of Justice today or tomorrow to obtain permission for the meeting with the leader."

Kilistan Kiliç Koçyigit affirmed that the visit aims to convey messages, proposals, and the outcomes of the delegation's visit to South Kurdistan. She noted that the meeting with Leader Abdullah Ocalan would determine the historical timing of the leader’s message for the next phase, within the framework of resolving the Kurdish issue and reaching a historic agreement between the Kurdish and Turkish people, as well as the peoples of the region.

She further explained that following Leader Abdullah Ocalan’s historic announcement of his message, the responsibility will fall on Parliament, which must fulfill its historical duty by implementing legal and constitutional amendments.
