The campaign will take place on platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram in support of political detainee and women's rights activist Warisha Moradi, who is facing a death sentence.

The campaign aims to raise her voice to the world and call for the suspension of her execution through a storm of tweets under a special campaign hashtag. A statement relayed by Roj News reads: "Let us stand together and join the Twitter storm to bring Warisha Moradi's innocence to the attention of the world."

This online movement coincides with a statement issued by the "No to Execution Tuesday" campaign, which has entered its 62nd week of a hunger strike. The campaign warned that the execution could be carried out at any moment and called on the Iranian judiciary to immediately revoke the sentence.

Warisha Moradi was arrested in the city of Sanandaj in East Kurdistan on August 1, 2023. After two weeks of interrogation at the intelligence department, she was transferred to Ward 209 of Evin Prison. During this period, she was subjected to pressure and torture to extract forced confessions. After five months, she was moved to the women's ward of Evin Prison in Tehran.
