Ongoing protests in Manbij condemn crimes of Turkish occupation mercenaries

Hundreds of residents of Manbij city and its countryside protested today against the continuous crimes committed by Turkish occupation mercenaries against civilians.

The demonstrators gathered in the central square of Manbij, carrying pictures of the victim Abdullah Al-Mousa and chanting slogans demanding accountability for his killers.

On November 17, Turkish occupation mercenaries killed citizen Abdullah Al-Mousa Al-Hassan by shooting him in the head while he was transporting fuel from the village of Jubb Abyad in northern Deir Hafer countryside toward occupied Manbij.

The protesters then moved to the security compound used by the Turkish mercenaries as a base for Turkish intelligence operations.

They continued marching through the streets of the city, holding pictures of the victim and condemning the mercenaries’ crimes.

Manbij city and its countryside have recently witnessed a series of protests and demonstrations against the practices of Turkish occupation mercenaries, which protesters say have turned the area into an environment conducive to crime and violations.
