On 12th anniversary, Internal Forces celebrate community-partnership

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces marked the twelfth anniversary of the force’s founding through a statement released on its official platforms.

In the statement, they emphasized that they are a national institution born from the sacrifices of the people, serving as a protective shield for security and stability, and as a pillar in building a society founded on peace and justice.

The General Command stated that since its establishment, the forces have worked to protect human life, safeguard dignity and freedom, and ensure the stability of society in all its components. It highlighted its key role in combating terrorism, crime, and drugs, and in enforcing laws and regulations with a spirit of justice and accountability.

The Command noted that the institution today represents a unifying national identity that includes all Syrian components—Kurds, Arabs, Syriacs, Assyrians, Circassians, and Yazidis—along with the active participation of women across security and administrative fields, affirming that security is a collective responsibility free of discrimination.

It added that the security and stability model based on community partnership, respect for diversity, and commitment to the law is a pioneering experience that can be replicated across Syrian cities to ensure sustainable security, consolidate civil peace, and achieve justice and equality among all Syrians.

The statement concluded by reaffirming the forces’ determination to continue its mission, honoring its martyrs and upholding national values, with a pledge to persist in working for security and stability throughout all Syrian territory.
