Ocalan’s Message to Yazidis: “massacres won’t repeat, strive for true unity”

Leader Abdullah Ocalan sent a message to the Autonomous Administration in Shengal and the Yazidi community, affirming that the injustices committed against them will never be repeated. Though not Yazidi himself, Ocalan said he felt their pain deeply and stressed that he will defend their existence, calling on them to pursue true unity.

The message stated: "I am not Yazidi, but I have made your pain and identity part of myself. The massacres against you will never be allowed to happen again, and such injustices will never be repeated anywhere against you."

Ocalan added in his message: "I have not and will not abandon the principle of holding accountable those who committed the recent massacre against you. I will always stand with the women and children who were displaced until they are rescued and justice is served."

He continued: "I have considered it my duty and responsibility that we work together to establish days in which you live freely and continue your culture with pride and dignity."

Leader Abdullah Ocalan concluded his message by saying: "My respect for you is immense. I defend your existence and your rights. I have accepted your precious gift. I promise you that one day we will see that attire upon my shoulders, hoping that through free and strong dialogues, you will reach true unity
