The lawyers of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omar Khairy Konar, Hamili Yildirim and Veysi Aktaş submitted a new request to the Turkish authorities to meet with them.

 Lawyers of Al-Asr Law Office; Today, Razia Ozturk, Ibrahim Bilmez, Imran Emekji, and Cengiz Yurkli submitted a new request to the Republican Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bursa and the Imrali Prison Directorate to meet with Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

They also submitted a request to the same authorities to meet with the detained Omer Hayri Konar, Hamili Yildirim, and Veysi Aktaş.

Requests from the family and lawyers to meet with Leader Abdullah Ocalan, Omar Hayri Konar, Hamili Yildirim and Veysi Aktaş are prohibited, under the pretext of “disciplinary sanctions.”

Leader Abdullah Ocalan was arrested on 15 February 1999 in an internationally hatched plot whose first steps were taken he leader left Syria on 9 October 1998 heading to Russian capital Moscow.

The last contact made with the leader was on March 25 where his brother Mihemed Ocalan spoke with leader just for five minutes.

Lawyers and detainees' families submit four requests to meet with them every week. Up to date no answere was received.
