New Israeli incursions and checkpoints in Southern Syria

Israeli forces have entered a number of villages in the Quneitra countryside, using military vehicles, and have set up several checkpoints.

Local sources reported today that an Israeli force consisting of 10 military vehicles entered the village of Saida al-Hanout in the southern Quneitra countryside. Part of the force, comprising five vehicles, established a checkpoint west of the village, while the other part advanced towards the village of Saida al-Golan and set up a checkpoint in its center.

In a related incident, another force consisting of three military vehicles entered the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah and established a checkpoint on the road connecting the village to the town of Khan Arnabeh, where they conducted searches of passersby.
