MP Sirri Sureyya Onder's health deteriorates
Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul announced the deterioration of the health condition of MP Sirri Sureyya Onder, a member of the Imrali delegation and a deputy of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM).

In an official statement issued by Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul, it was stated that MP Sirri Sureyya Onder, who has been in the intensive care unit for 13 days, is facing an increasing risk to his life.
The statement explained: "Although he initially showed neurological and hemodynamic stability after receiving treatment with an ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) device, his neurological condition has significantly deteriorated. We have reached another level of collapse, with a decreased patient response and continued brain swelling. Unfortunately, the risk of death is escalating, and we continue treatment patiently while monitoring the situation."
Sirri Sureyya Onder, a member of the Imrali delegation and deputy of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM), had been transferred to Florence Nightingale Hospital in the Şişli district of Istanbul after suffering a severe health crisis caused by a blockage of the main artery exiting the heart. He subsequently underwent a delicate surgical procedure.
Despite the medical intervention, his condition remains critical, according to statements from the party citing the medical team overseeing his treatment.
