Minister of Education discusses new school year preparations with Hasakah Governor

As the start of the new school year approaches, Hasakah Governor Nour al-Din Ahmad met with Minister of Education and Teaching Mohammad Abdulrahman Turko to discuss the state of the education sector in the governorate and its level of readiness to receive students.

The meeting addressed the readiness of the Hasakah Directorate of Education, ongoing maintenance and renovation work, as well as the opening of new schools to accommodate the growing number of students and provide a stable and suitable educational environment for students and teaching staff.

At the beginning of the meeting, the minister thanked the governor of Hasakah and the educational and local cadres, praising their efforts to follow up on the situation of schools, work to remove obstacles, and expand educational facilities that are ready to receive students.

He also praised cooperation on issues related to integration and administrative and educational restructuring, considering that progress in the integration process reflects the level of coordination and shared responsibility toward developing the educational process and securing the future of students.

For his part, the governor of Hasakah affirmed the governorate’s commitment to providing logistical support to the education sector and continuing coordination with the Ministry of Education, in a manner that ensures a stable start to the new school year and provides suitable conditions for students and teachers.
