Minister of Education, Director of Education in Hasakah discuss preparations for new academic year

The Minister of Education and the Director of Education in Hasakah Governorate discussed the state of the educational process in the governorate and the ongoing preparations to receive the new academic year 2026–2027.

The Minister of Education, Mohammed Abdulrahman Turko, met with the Director of Education in Hasakah Governorate, Adnan Al-Bari, to discuss the state of the educational process in the governorate and the ongoing preparations to receive the new academic year 2026–2027, as well as plans aimed at enhancing schools’ readiness and securing their requirements.

The meeting addressed the level of preparedness at the Hasakah Directorate of Education and followed up on comprehensive maintenance and renovation works at educational facilities. It also discussed plans to open new schools to accommodate the increasing number of students and provide a stable and stimulating educational environment for students and teaching staff.

The two sides also discussed mechanisms for ensuring the delivery of textbooks and educational and logistical supplies to various schools across the governorate, in addition to administrative and educational restructuring files.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of Education praised the efforts of educational and local staff in Hasakah Governorate and their commitment to overcoming obstacles and expanding the number of schools ready to operate. Meanwhile, the Director of Education in Hasakah affirmed the directorate’s commitment to providing support and maintaining direct coordination with the ministry, in a manner that ensures a stable and organized start to the new academic year.
