Men in Tabqa Canton marched in support of women and their freedom, as well as rejecting all forms of violence against them, and vowed to continue the struggle side by side for more achievements.

A gathering of men and representatives of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, its affiliated bodies and councils, and the Future Syria Party Council in Tabqa Canton, gathered in front of the Martyr Havrin Park, to march against all forms of violence against women.

The march began with men holding banners reading "Women's philosophy, life, freedom, protect yourself" and "women, life, freedom", chanting "No to killing women" and "Women, life, freedom". The march headed towards the Zenobia Women's Assembly building, where participants observed a minute of silence in tribute to the martyrs.

During the meeting, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Tabqa  stressed that they were going on with the philosophy and thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the leader who paid attention to women's freedom, and brought them to the present day, proud of themselves and proud of their achievements."

As part of the campaign to combat violence against women and under the slogan "With the philosophy of women, life is freedom, protect yourself", he stressed: "We will continue to fight side by side to achieve more".

He drew attention to the achievements of women in the NE Syria, saying: "They were able to prove themselves in all political, economic, military and social fields, relying on their own forces and on their history full of achievements, and were able in the years of the revolution to rewrite history and blow up the injustice of 5 thousand years, and that they remained steadfast in the face of violence and the continuous killing committed against them."

For his part, the head of the Tabqa Canton Notables and the sheikh of the Albu Khamis Hussein Al-Rashed tribe, pointed out that their march in support of women is proof of their pride in the thought and struggle of women, and an affirmation of the rejection of all forms of violence directed against them, as they were and still are a beacon for the liberation of societies and lighting the way for nations to enjoy freedom.

The march ended with the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom".
