Mazloum Abdi praises efforts of Kurdistan Region's leadership, people supporting Rojava

The commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), Mazloum Abdi, affirmed that the position of the Kurdistan Region, both its leadership and people, is highly appreciated and respected by the people of Rojava.

The commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the efforts of the leadership and people of the Kurdistan Region in supporting the people of Rojava.

In a post on the X platform, Abdi stated, "I met with Kek Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, as part of the political efforts aimed at bridging the gap between us and the Syrian government."

He added, "We express our profound appreciation for the efforts of President Masoud Barzani and Kek Nechirvan Barzani at this stage, as they continue to support the political endeavors in coordination with the American mediator, with the goal of achieving a ceasefire, resuming dialogue, and implementing the signed agreements, thus ensuring the success of the integration process between us and the Syrian government."

He emphasized that "the position of the Kurdistan Region, both its leadership and people, is held in the highest esteem and respect by our people."
