Mazloum Abdi condoles Komala fighters’ martyrdom

Condolences have been offered by Mazloum Abdi for the martyrdom of nine Peshmerga fighters from the Kurdistan Workers’ Association (Komala) in the city of Sulaimaniyah in the Kurdistan Region after an attack that has been attributed to Iran.

Abdi posted on the X platform that: "With profound grief, we got the news of the martyrdom of nine members of the Komala revolutionary organization who became martyrs after the Iranian regime attacked them when they were carrying out their duties." He also said: "Once again, we condemn all attacks against the security and stability of the Kurdistan region," and offered his condolences to the families of the deceased, the leadership of Komala, and the Kurdish people of Eastern Kurdistan, hoping for the quick recovery of those injured.

Yesterday, eight Peshmerga fighters of the Kurdistan Toilers' Organization (Komala) were martyred, and others were injured in a rocket attack perpetrated by Iranian forces on the headquarter of the organization in Sulaimaniyah, Southern Kurdistan.
