Mazloum Abdi condemns attack on Kurdistan Region PM’s office

The General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, condemned the targeting of the office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region's Government and expressed his solidarity with the region’s government and people, describing the attack as an “unacceptable and unethical act.”

The General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, expressed his solidarity with the government and people of the Kurdistan Region and condemned the targeting of the region’s Prime Minister’s office.

In a post on X, Mazloum Abdi described the targeting as an “unacceptable and unethical act,” stressing that it constitutes an attack on the will of the people of the Kurdistan Region and on an essential part of Iraq’s state institutions.

Abdi reiterated his solidarity with the region’s government and people, stressing his rejection of attacks on official institutions and the need to respect the will of the people and state institutions.

The Counter-Terrorism Service in the Kurdistan Region announced that the private office of the region’s Prime Minister and the residence of the director of the Parastin Agency in the Pirmam district of Hewlêr Governorate were targeted by two explosive-laden drones, which it said had come from the Iranian side.
