Massive Rally in Euphrates Canton condemns Turkey's massacres

Thousands of residents from the Euphrates Canton, including students and members of Autonomous Administration institutions and bodies, participated in a massive public rally condemning the Turkish occupation's attacks and massacres in NE Syrian region, particularly the massacre committed in the city of Sere Kaniye yesterday, which resulted in the martyrdom of 12 individuals and the injury of 13 others.

 The rally began at the Free Women's Square in Kobani, where participants raised flags of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), along with images of martyrs and photographs of the massacre in Sere Kaniye. They chanted slogans such as "Martyrs are eternal," "Resistance is life," and "Long live the resistance of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women's Protection Units."

 The rally continued until it reached the Martyr Akid Square, where the participants held a moment of silence to honor the souls of the martyrs. Following this, Beker Hac Issa, the member of the Democratic Union Party in the Euphrates Canton, delivered a speech condemning the massacre carried out by the Turkish occupation forces in Sere Kaniye. He stated: "Yesterday, Turkish warplanes committed a massacre against the people of Sere Kaniye. We affirm that we will stand united against the occupation to defeat and expel it. We call on the international community to hold the Turkish state accountable."

 Mohammed Rajab, a resident of Sere Kaniye, condemned the repeated massacres perpetrated by the Turkish occupation against the people of northern and eastern Syria.

  "We strongly denounce these massacres committed against our people. The Turkish occupying state carried out another massacre yesterday, resulting in 12 martyrs and 13 wounded."

 The rally concluded with the chant "Resistance is life."
