Martyrs' families: Political parties must continue to struggle for Ocalan's freedom
The families of the martyrs called on political parties and human rights activists to continue to struggle for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and to make their voices heard by the public.
The families of the martyrs in the city of Tirbespiyê in al- Jazira canton called on politicians and human rights activists to abide by their responsibilities towards the system of torture and genocide imposed on Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and to disregard the efforts of the Turkish authorities to evade providing the leader with physical freedom and to be satisfied with meeting his family.
The father of the martyred HPG fighter Baz Biran (Bilan Ibrahim), Farhan Ibrahim, explained that the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan requires great activities, and called on political parties and human rights activists, saying: "Those intellectual human rights activists who took the oath must fulfill their oath and demand the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan."
Ibrahim concluded his speech by saying: "I call on all peoples, especially political parties and human rights activists, to demand the rights of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and struggle in the squares for his physical freedom. Political parties are required to organize activities and stand against the international conspiracy."
The sister of the martyred YPG fighter Majid Hasan, Atiya Hasan, said: "We hold ourselves responsible for not liberating our leader yet, and we pledge to continue activities and strengthen the resistance until his physical freedom is achieved. With the exception of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, no one has granted women their rights and made them play their leading role."
Atiya condemned the international conspiracy against Leader Abdullah Ocalan and said: "Our leader's thought is a national thought that serves all the oppressed."
Atiya Hasan called on political parties and human rights activists to stand with Leader Abdullah Ocalan and demand his physical freedom. She also called on all women, especially the mothers of martyrs, to go out to fight in the squares for the leader.
Atiya Hasan concluded her speech by saying: "If we, the families of martyrs, are asked to do so, we will make ourselves a ring of fire around Imrali and stand with our leader, because our freedom is from the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan."
Abdi Khalaf, the father of the HPG fighter Nubar Khalaf who was martyred in the mountains of Kurdistan and the YPG fighter Lawand who was martyred in Rojava, pointed to the importance of the role of political parties and human rights activists and the necessity of their commitment to their duties and responsibilities for Leader Abdullah Ocalan.
Abdi Khalaf stated that Leader Abdullah Ocalan represents all peoples, and continued his speech by saying: “Leader Abdullah Ocalan freed thousands of people from injustice with his thought and philosophy, and political parties and human rights activists are required to make their voices heard by human rights organizations, rise up against the practices of the Turkish occupation state against Leader Abdullah Ocalan and do not remain silent.”
