'Let us thwart conspirators’ plans through leader’s philosophy'

Today marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of the international conspiracy that targeted Leader Ocalan in 1999, with the participation of international, regional and local forces.

QAMISHLO

To denounce the conspiracy, thousands of people from the city of Qamishlo and the districts of Tirbespiye, Tal Hamis and Amuda in Jazera Canton went out in a condemning march, which started in front of the Osman Sabri roundabout in the city of Qamishlo, amid the complete closure of shops and the market.

The march participants roamed (Amuda road), and the Internal Security Forces and Community Protection Units provided protection for the participants, and the Traffic Police opened the roads for the march.

The participants raised pictures of Leader Ocalan and wore white jackets with the words “No life without the leader,” and chanted with one voice, “No one can block our sun,” “Death to the conspirators,” and “No life without the leader.”

As the march turned into a mass stand in front of the March 12 Martyrs Stadium, the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Asya Abdullah, stated, “All Kurdistanis are responsible for lifting the isolation of Leader Ocalan, and the struggle must be escalated in all arenas, and comprehensive resistance must be declared, because the leader, with his thought and philosophy, illuminated the path of freedom for all.”

In conclusion, she stressed, "The will and brotherhood of the peoples, represented by the leader's thought, will prevail in the face of all attacks, just as it defeated the conspiracy."

For his part, the co-chair of the Interior Body of the Democratic Autonomous-Administration of Jazera Canton, Kanaan Barakat, said, “We faced 25 years of conspiracy with the leadership of the leader’s philosophy of resistance and struggle, and we have no path but victory.”

He pointed out, "We will struggle in all diplomatic, organizational, and military fields until the physical freedom of the leader is achieved."

On behalf of war-wounded Confedaration in NE Syria, Ronahi Ismail pledged to escalate the struggle.

The citizen, Faisal Haqqi Ramadan, who arrived on foot from the Tirbespiye district for the march, stressed, “We will not stand idly by regarding the conspiracies that target the leader and the people.”

Derik

The people of the city of Derik and the districts of Girke lege, Tal Koçar and Çil Agha, and the areas of Koçert and Baraf, with all their components of Kurds, Arabs and Syriacs, set off from Azadi Square in Derik.

The voices of thousands of participants chanted the slogan “There is no life without the leader,” while pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan were raised.

After the participants arrived at the Shahid Bauer Center for the Syrian Revolutionary Youth in the center of the city, they paused for a minute of silence, then a member of the General Council of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) who currently holds the position of co-chair of the Local Administration and Environment Body in Jazera Canton, Suleiman Arab, delivered a speech in which he denounced the international conspiracy that had affected Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Suleiman Arab pointed out, "Leader Ocalan fought against international interests that marginalize people and do not serve them, and also fought for women's freedom. Therefore, society must, for this reason, rally around his ideas and liberal philosophy to apply them on the ground in their correct form."

In turn, the administrator at Kongra Star in Derik, Shadia Youssef, called on all women to escalate the struggle, organize events and participate in them in order to guarantee the leader’s physical freedom, and stressed, “The leader’s freedom is our freedom.”

In conclusion, the theater groups affiliated with the Aram Tigran Center for Culture and Art in Rmailan and Koçert presented a theatrical performance entitled “Hope for Freedom,” which represents the impact of the leader’s thought and philosophy in raising people’s awareness of the genocidal policies pursued against them.

Since 1999, Kurdistan and various regions of the world have witnessed marches denouncing the international conspiracy and demanding the release of leader Abdullah Ocalan, whom the Turkish state imposes strict isolation on Imrali Island.
