Mahabad Kocher noted: “Today, the peoples of the region are moving steadily towards safety. The free thought they inherited from Leader Abdullah was like a torch that illuminated their dark path.”

In turn, the Deputy Co-chair of the Girê Spi/Tal Abyad Canton Council, Fazza Muhammad, urged “the peoples to escalate their struggle and break the bars of Imrali prison, as the freedom of these peoples is represented by the physical freedom of the leader Ocalan.”
