Lawyer Alaa al-Din Khaled Kalo released in Aleppo

The Syrian National Democratic Alliance Party announced today the release of Mr. Alaa al-Din Khaled.

The statement said that this positive step reflects the urgent need for an inclusive national dialogue that involves all Syrians without exclusion and lays the foundation for a serious political path leading to the drafting of a new constitutional charter that reflects the aspirations of the Syrian people, based on dignity, justice, and the rule of law.

The party pointed out that this charter should match the significant sacrifices Syrians have made for a better future and a modern democratic state, emphasizing that dialogue is the only way to achieve stability and build a new Syria.

The statement concluded by thanking everyone who contributed to the release of Mr. Khaled, stressing that freedom for the free will remain a core value in the Syrian people’s journey.

Afrin-Syria Human Rights Organization reported through its official channels yesterday that an armed group had kidnapped lawyer Alaa al-Din Khaled Kalo and took him to an unknown location.
