Kurdistan National Congress delegation conducts series of visits in Qamishlo

Today, a delegation from the Kurdistan National Congress visited the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Jazira Canton.

The delegation included the Co-Chair of the Congress, Ahmed Qarmos; a member of the Congress Presidency Coordination, Sherko Hami Amin; a member of the Congress Coordination, Dr. Hakim Abdul Rahim; a member of the Congress Presidency Coordination, Barwin Aziz; a member of the Kurdistan National Congress Coordination, Majda Abbas; in addition to the member of the Kurdistan National Congress National Committee in Rojava, Suleiman Elias, and a member of the Congress Administrative Body, Akram Haso.

The delegation was received by the Co-Chair of the Executive Council in Jazira Canton, Hassan Shro, and the Autonomous Administration Advisor, Jian Hassan, at the council’s headquarters in Qamishlo.

The meeting addressed the importance of Kurdish unity and discussed the latest developments and current events in the region.

Later, at around 12:00, the Kurdistan National Congress delegation visited the Union of Rojava-Kurdistan Intellectuals (HRRK) in the Tourist District of Qamishlo.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the current political situation and the impact of recent attacks in reinforcing the unity and solidarity of the Kurdish people worldwide.

The delegation is expected to continue its tour in Qamishlo and hold a meeting with a delegation from the Kurdish Negotiation Committee, which emerged from the Qamishlo Conference on 26 April 2025.
