Today, the Kurdish Red Crescent announced the launch of the campaign through a statement made by its center in Qamishlo, read by Kurdish Red Crescent members Bawer Joli and Sherin Khalil.

On September 24, the representative office of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Lebanon formed a committee to follow up on the affairs of Syrian refugees wishing to return, specifically from the families in the regions of NE Syria, due to the military escalation in Lebanon. Thousands have been received so far, and the flow of refugees continues.

To provide the necessary support, the Kurdish Red Crescent stated: "In light of the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by our people coming from Lebanon to our regions, the Kurdish Red Crescent announces the launch of a fundraising campaign aimed at providing the necessary support for them. This initiative comes in response to the suffering experienced by our people in Lebanon, who were forced to leave their homes in search of safety and stability."

The Kurdish Red Crescent added: "The displacement resulting from the ongoing crises in Lebanon has also cast shadows on the host communities, increasing the need for collaborative efforts to support them in these harsh humanitarian conditions."

The Kurdish Red Crescent called on all institutions and individuals to join this campaign by providing in-kind and financial donations, stating: "Every contribution, no matter how small, reflects our humanity and solidarity with our brothers and sisters in crises. Through this, we can make a real difference in the lives of the displaced from Lebanon and help them rebuild their hopes and future."

According to the campaign plan, tents and donation centers will be set up in all cities of NE Syria region.
