"Kurdish Conference in Rojava will announce Kurds' joint stance"

The preparations, which had been ongoing since last November, for holding the conference to establish a unified Kurdish stance in Rojava have been completed, and attention is now turning to the date of its convening.

In this context, member of the conference's preparatory committee, Abdel Ilah Al-Arabo, told ANHA agency that the conference will be held in the city of Qamishlo on April 18, with the participation of all parties, organizations, intellectuals, women, youth, and dignitaries from Rojava.

Abdel Ilah Al-Arabo revealed that more than 300 delegates will participate in the conference.

The opening speech of the conference, which will conclude its work on the same day, will be delivered by the General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi.

The conference will discuss the draft of the political position that was previously prepared by the participating parties and organizations, in order to finalize it. The conference will conclude with the announcement of the joint political stance.

According to officials, the draft political stance calls for guaranteeing the rights of the Kurds and their participation in the new Syrian constitution.

It is also expected that the conference will decide on the formation of a joint committee to negotiate with Damascus.

It was reported that there will be several online participations from outside of Rojava.
