Al-Shaddadi

In the same context, Kongra Star organized a lecture in the city of Al-Shaddadi on the occasion of the birthday of Leader Abdullah Ocalan. The event was held in the Kongra hall and attended by many local residents and administrators from civil institutions.

The lecture began with a minute of silence in tribute to the martyrs, followed by a lecture delivered by Itab Mohammed, an administrator at the Women’s House in Al-Shaddadi. She highlighted key moments in the life of Leader Abdullah Ocalan and his philosophy, which is rooted in the principles of freedom and liberation as the foundation for building a free and democratic life.

Itab Mohammed emphasized that Leader Abdullah Ocalan presented a comprehensive proposal to solve the escalating crises in the Middle East, which have been worsened by the global capitalist system.

She stated that the leader's call for peace and a democratic society represents a turning point, from war to peace, and from fragmentation to the re-establishment of democracy, through his proposal for a democratic socialist system based on liberating societies from the dominance of central authority and creating a communal human existence capable of bringing about change.

Itab also focused on the issue of women's liberation, noting that Abdullah Öcalan stresses that the emancipation of women from oppression and servitude is a fundamental condition for achieving true peace and building a democratic society that is ethical, political, and environmentally conscious.

The lecture concluded by affirming that Leader Abdullah Öcalan has taken on the responsibility of liberating societies and opening new horizons toward a future that is more just and humane, with women as essential partners in this liberation project.
