Kobani Military Council confirms its readiness to deter any attack

on Saturday, a meeting was organized that included leaders and members of the expanded military council of Kobani, along with office officials and battalion leaders, with the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, and members of the General Command, Sozdar Derik and Jiya Kobani. During the meeting, the military council leaders confirmed the successful completion of the combat readiness test and their readiness to protect the region and its people with all their strength. 

 The military council reviewed reports of its military activities during the past period at the meeting and affirmed the people's support for the forces in their legitimate defense mission.

 The council briefed the general leadership on the situation in the region, including the necessity of addressing the shortcomings in the work of some service institutions, providing basic necessities for the residents, and increasing job opportunities for the youth.

 In his turn, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces praised the military council's preparations and readiness to protect the region and defend all its components, emphasizing the utmost importance of strengthening the internal front and addressing shortcomings in all areas.

 The Commander-in-Chief affirmed the forces' readiness to engage in dialogue with all parties, including Turkey, to reach political solutions for all problems and issues. At the same time, he emphasized that there would be no leniency towards any attacks or military and security interventions, and that training for fighters would continue, along with providing full support to the military council and its forces.
