KDP transfers Turkish intelligence members to Media Defense Areas

The head of the Kurdistan National Sharara Party in southern Kurdistan, Karukh Sayyed Rizgar revealed that he had received information indicating that Turkish intelligence officers had gone last September, accompanied by forces affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party to the Balkaiti area for the purpose of espionage.

Roj News Agency reported that Sayyed Rizgar revealed that a number of officers from the Turkish Military Intelligence Service went to the Balkaiti area in southern Kurdistan, on September 10, in vehicles of the Zirvani forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party for purpose of monitoring the movements of the People's Defense Forces (Guerrilla) in the region.

The Turkish occupation army intensified its military and intelligence movements in southern Kurdistan in direct cooperation with the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and caused the martyrdom of dozens of People's Defense Forces fighters and civilians there.

The cooperation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party with the Turkish occupation state has met with popular discontent throughout Kurdistan, and observers confirm that the actions of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and its cooperation with the occupation and the intelligence of the Turkish state to occupy the Kurdistan region contribute to the destruction of the national and cultural identity of the Kurdish people.

This is not the first time that Kurdistan Democratic vehicles have transported intelligence and Turkish occupation army personnel.

On August 28, 2021, the Kurdistan Democratic Party ambushed a People's Defense Forces unit consisting of 7 fighters in the Khalilfan area in the Media Defense areas, and led to the martyrdom of 6 male and female fighters of People's Defense forces.
