Kaskin Binder confirms positive outcomes from Imrali delegation’s meetings with KDP leaders

After a series of intensive meetings, Kaskin Binder, the leader of the Democratic Regions Party, announced in a joint press conference that the Imrali delegation’s meetings with the leaders of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in Hawler had yielded positive and fruitful results.

The Imrali delegation held two meetings with Masoud Barzani and Nechirvan Barzani, focusing on strengthening dialogue between the main Kurdish parties and conveying messages from Leader Abdullah Ocalan. These discussions emphasized the importance of the meetings held over the past two days, addressing crucial topics related to Leader Ocalan’s messages, the political situation in the region, and ways to resolve Kurdish issues.

After the meetings, a joint press conference was held, during which Hawler Governor Omed Khoshnaw welcomed the delegation and confirmed that the meetings with Masoud Barzani and Nechirvan Barzani had been successful.

He added that greetings and messages from Leader Abdullah Ocalan had been officially delivered to them, with discussions highlighting the importance of the initiative aimed at resolving Kurdish issues through dialogue.

Kaskin Binder then made a statement during the conference, affirming that the meetings took place in an atmosphere of respect and cooperation and that the discussions with Masoud and Nechirvan Barzani had yielded positive results in promoting dialogue among various Kurdish parties.

Kaskin Binder stated that the stance of the KDP leaders was positive and encouraging and expressed deep appreciation for the spirit of cooperation demonstrated by all parties involved in the meetings.

He explained that the discussions revolved around Kurdish issues and ways to resolve them through legal and peaceful means, emphasizing that the Kurdish people across all regions place their hopes on a legal and political resolution to these issues.

He added, “All parties agree on supporting this process aimed at resolving Kurdish issues within a legal and political framework.”

Kaskin Binder noted that the initiative launched by Leader Abdullah Ocalan represents a significant step toward addressing Kurdish issues, emphasizing that this initiative has been ongoing for a long time and aims to find realistic political solutions to the crises and conflicts affecting the Kurdish people in the region. He stressed that Leader Ocalan is making great efforts to achieve a comprehensive solution to the Kurdish issues impacting the entire region.

He underlined that everyone is counting on the continuation of this process to achieve peaceful and lasting solutions, noting that the next meetings will take place in Sulaymaniyah, where another meeting is scheduled with Bafel Talabani, the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), and Qubad Talabani, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region.

He confirmed that these meetings are part of a series of discussions aimed at strengthening unity and cooperation among all Kurdish parties and that the delegation will soon head to North Kurdistan to issue a written statement on the outcomes of these meetings.

Kaskin Binder concluded his remarks by expressing the Kurdish people's hopes that these meetings will yield tangible results that contribute to resolving outstanding issues.
